7th Raya with you. Hopefully the last raya as a couple and may the next one be our first as husband and wife, insha Allah.

Thank you for meeting with Daddy the other day. I know it wasn't easy and despite looking calm and cool, it was still nerve wracking for you right. I hadn't seen Daddy's smile for quite a while, and I definitely didn't expect for him to be laughing along with you. Alhamdulilah. Though it wasn't quite a straightforward yes, he did agree to our marriage. It's up to us (and especially me) to convince him that we're ready for marriage in the coming year.

I doubt it will be an easy journey from now till the day we get solemnized but insha Allah, we'll face everything together and may He ease our journey.
