Love.

"If something finite, temporary and fading becomes the center of our life, we will surely break."

When you first fall in love, naturally they become the center of your world. You begin to think of only them. Your time and your day starts and ends with them. You wake up thinking of them, and you can't fall asleep without talking to them. Everything you do reminds you of them.

My first mistake.

"Real love, as Allah swt intended it, is not a sickness or an addiction. It brings about calm, tranquility."

You become absorbed. Love or your loved one becomes your strength and your needs to overcome something. With love, you feel complete.
"Some form of human love, can be a gift. It can be a means, but the moment you make it the End, you will fall."
"Completion cannot be found in anything other than God."

Falling in love at 17, young and naive as I was, I made love the center of my world. And many times, I get hurt because of it.

There are four attributes man seek in a partner: Her property, her beauty, her ancestry and her deen. Seek the deen first.
