Plans for Bandung during December got postponed cause we'll be heading to Jakarta for a wedding in January instead. A good idea for a mini holiday why not?
I've never been to Jakarta too.
Either way I get my mini holiday, though now I have to find plans to fill up my 3 weeks winter break cause I'm definitely not staying home everyday. I'll explode. Maybe it's a good time I continue my sewing lessons with Ibu. Since hubby already bought me a sewing machine, I really need to put it to good use. It's collecting dust for now. I've always wanted to design my own clothes anyway.
Flight to Jakarta has been booked! I'm really looking forward to it although it's another 2 months away. I really need it. I feel constricted everyday. I can't explain. I need space. Breathing space. Away-from-this-place space. No interruption. With my husband.
I know it makes me a bad person but I don't really care at the same time. It's been only half a year & I already feel like I don't get all the attention. And that I have to share. I'm clingy I know. This is what happens when I love someone too much.
It may seem like I'm unreasonable. But I'm not, really. I'm pretty flexible. If there is really a need for help, I'm all for it. But when it's obvious there isn't, it just annoys me... I don't even know why I'm wasting time on this.
Back to Jakarta & my happy thoughts, I have made an itinerary for it and a list of the places we should go while we're there;
1. Taman Impian Jaya Ancol
2. Gedung Kesernian Jakarta
3. Shopping!
Plaza Indonesia of FX Mall - designer goods
Grand Indonesia
Mangga Dua - cheap yet quality imitation goods
Blok M - shoes, clothes, bags
Pasar Ikan - souvenirs & household items
4. Pasar Baru
5. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah
6. National Monument
7. Mandiri Museum
And I'm not done yet. Jakarta is huge I don't know how to fit it all. But one thing's for sure, we need to go shopping.
I also already picked the hotel and I think it'll be amazing.
Aston Marina Ancol Hotel.
It's an apartment-hotel, and the 1 bedroom apartment looks legit with quite an affordable price (compared to my previous choice). And the most important part, it has a bathtub!
It's a steal.
Ok I shall end my post with my happy thoughts.
xx
